Altar Guild

"Preparers of the Meal" are men and women who assure the elements of Bread, Wine, and Water are available for the Sacramental life of the congregation. They are called "Assisting Ministers" because they enable us to worship God in an orderly and beautiful way.

They maintain the colored paraments, linens for Holy Communion and Baptism, candles, and funeral palls of the congregation.  

Interested in joining the Altar Guild? We will teach you what to do and work with you until you are comfortable as you assume responsibilities which match your interests. It’s a great way to stay involved with the church, without getting up in front of people to act or speak. You can join by yourself or with a partner.  Contact the Parish Administrator, Sue Jacob, or the Pastor at 215-822-9108. You may take on as little or as much as you feel ready to assume. We offer training and support for this holy ministry.
